Stop Natural Gas Expansion

The expansion of the Algonquin Pipeline was imminent; thus in December 2014, we decided to petition (see petition) our town councils or boards of selectmen to pass a resolution calling upon our state legislators to do everything they could to oppose the expansion.  We also produced a fact sheet on why the resolution should be passed. Spectra Energy, owner of this natural gas transmission pipeline, is planning several expansion projects that will adversely affect many towns in New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts.
